Axure Software Solutions, Inc. was founded in May 2002 to serve the software development community by offering innovative solutions designed to help software designers and developers meet their objectives.

Axure's flagship product is Ubiquity RP. The pilot version of Ubiquity RP was released in January 2003 and received an exciting response from the community. Ubiquity RP was one of the first products on the market designed specifically to prototype browser-based applications and the only product of its kind priced to be a viable solution for individuals and small businesses as well as large enterprises. The software increases business productivity and reduces expense by helping users design applications faster and easier while improving the quality of the design and making it easier to demonstrate and communicate the design. The follow-up release Ubiquity RP 2.0 was released in November 2003 making the design of interfaces and generation of prototypes even easier.
