Description:  Quatech's SSE-410D is designed to be the value leader in single-port Ethernet serial device servers. The SSE-410D comes with an extensive feature set that sets it apart from other serial device servers in this price range. This model is switch-selectable for RS-232, 422 & 485, and supports baud rates up to 230K. It ships with direct driver support for Windows® 98, Me, NT4, 2000 and XP. It can also be accessed using standard TCP/IP socket commands, and supports Paired Mode (serial tunneling) applications. Other features include an auto-sensing 10/100 Base-T Ethernet interface, UDP Client/Server modes, a Heartbeat connection to automatically re-connect to networks when needed, Telnet and Console support, and for added security, the ability to reject connections from all but a single, defined IP address. In addition, the SSE-410D comes with a five-year limited warranty. With all that flexibility built-in, you can confidently deploy it in any number of different serial device-to-network applications. Its low price and attractive feature set makes it competitive, but Quatech's reputation for quality, service and support is what makes the SSE-410D the best value in single-port serial to Ethernet solutions.
