ScriptLogic Cloak™ tightens security and simplifies the user’s view on a Windows network by limiting visibility of files and folders to those which the user can access. Unlike other operating systems, Windows normally allows users visibility to the entire contents of a folder, including items for which access is denied. ScriptLogic Cloak limits visibility to only those files and folders which the user has permission to access. Conversely, files and folders where access is not permitted are concealed. ScriptLogic Cloak is installed by network administrators onto Windows servers and does not require configuration or installation of any agents onto the user’s desktop.
