ABSTRACT:
Sypherlink?s innovative, patent-pending method of database integration can serve as a critical toolset to enable data sharing across multiple unrelated systems concurrently; making the most current information from across the organization available via a single, virtual system.
Virtually Centralized Database (VCD) allows users to create a virtual schema that represents the consolidated schemas of the physically disparate sources. Any number of VCD components can be compiled to provide unique views into the pertinent data sources based on each specific need. Each VCD component is a fully ODBC-compliant schema that can be accessed by any ODBC-enabled application (i.e.: reporting, analytic, and business rule tools).
