ABSTRACT:
The Voice over Packet (VoP) solutions from HSS address the multiplicity of challenges facing the development of various products, such as convergence of legacy PSTN networks and PDN networks, the Class 4 and Class 5 replacement, and the enabling of advanced, web-centric and user configurable services.
The framework implements both basic and digest authentication mechanisms as well as LDAP, DNS SRV and static address lookup schemes and open CDR interfaces for integrating with external billing agents. All data accesses are abstracted making integration with existing databases easy. The framework provides local file as well as PostGres SQL integration inbuilt into the solution. Tuned towards carrier-class solutions, these products are extremely performance sensitive and offer components for scaling, redundancy and loadsharing. |
