ABSTRACT:
Advanced Radius Server (ARS) is an implementation of widely used RADIUS protocol for centralized authentication, authorization and accounting (AAA). It's highly customizable, modular and performance oriented implementation based on RFC 2865 and RFC 2866. It provides excellent centralized solution for ISP's providing dial-up, PPPoE, DSL, Wireless and VoIP services to their corporate and retail customers.
In the VoIP retail business, it may be used for pre-paid (PIN/account/ANI) based authentication. ARS can also used as a live CDR collector in a wholesale (carrier based) VoIP environment. It can be easily customized with any voip billing software for a complete billing solution. We have many installations of ARS with Advanced VOIP Billing Software (AVB) in both retail and wholesale (carried based) environments. ARS now supports all kinds of RADIUS compliant VoIP gateways (including Cisco, Mera and Quintum) and fully supports Vendor Specific Attributes (VSA) with the help of configurable radius vendor dictionaries.
