ABSTRACT:
Network Engines, Inc., a leading development, manufacturing and distribution partner for storage and security vendors and network equipment providers, today announced its commitment to deliver appliance products based on Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server 2000, Windows Server 2000 and Windows Storage Server 2003. A leading appliance designed to stop the security threats to corporations' Microsoft Exchange server environments, the Firewall for Microsoft Exchange Server, is the first result of this commitment.
The Firewall for Microsoft Exchange Server appliance leverages the application layer firewall features of Microsoft's ISA Server and its ability to enable secure, remote access to the full collaboration feature set of Exchange. With a web-based "point and click" interface and a "headless" implementation, the firewall appliance enables easy deployment and administration particularly in the small-to-medium enterprise where IT resources may be scarce.
