Visual Numerics, Inc., a leading provider of numerical analysis and visualization software, today announced that the Visual Numerics IMSL™ Fortran Numerical Library 5.0 is now available for the Intel® Visual Fortran Compiler, Professional Edition, for Windows, announced by Intel Corporation earlier today. The capabilities of Visual Numerics' IMSL Fortran Numerical Library with the newest edition of the Intel Visual Fortran Compiler allows Fortran application developers to take advantage of robust mathematical and statistical algorithms optimized for Intel's compiler technology. Fortran developers can now build high-performance data analysis applications on Microsoft Windows-based systems using Intel® Pentium®, Intel® Xeon™ and Intel® Itanium® 2 processors. |
