ABSTRACT:
The Adaptec iSA1500 Storage Array is a fully functioning iSCSI storage target capable of handling block-level storage protocols over standard Ethernet networks. It resides in a standard 19-inch rack-mountable, 1U form factor, and includes 1 terabyte of raw storage capacity, with advanced features such as automatic storage provisioning and Volume Snapshot. It offers a viable alternative to more costly fibre-channel-based storage devices, and can be used within an existing Ethernet network infrastructure. |
