The ENDFORCE Agent is a client-side software component providing the functions of endpoint assessment. It is responsible for retrieving security policy and performing real-time inspection of the endpoint's compliance status. The Agent is launched when the user attempts to establish a network connection. The Agent retrieves the most recent security policy from the ENDFORCE Policy Manager and assesses the endpoint's compliance based upon the rules that have been defined by the enterprise administrator as the stated security policy.
