Mr. Walsh brings years of storage industry experience with demonstrated leadership in sales, marketing and alliances in both startup and public companies. Prior to Avamar, Mr. Walsh was Senior VP, Sales, Marketing, and Alliances at Computer Network Technology (CNT), a global leader in storage networking, data replication and backup and recovery solutions for the Global 2000. In early 2005, CNT agreed to be acquired by rival McDATA for $235 million. Prior to CNT, he was VP of Field Operations and Co-Founder at Articulent, a systems integrator and consulting company focused on data management solutions. Articulent was acquired by CNT in 2001.
