ABSTRACT:
This paper explains why senior hedge fund executives unanimously agree that wireless data access should be a priority for 2007. However, tools for risk management, operational efficiency, speed and security have taken precedence and have prevented most from budgeting for low-latency, mobile data solutions at all. This report points out that most of these priorities would actually improve with appropriate wireless solutions and also reveals that hedge fund executives are generally unaware of the multiple options available to them for wireless devices.
