ABSTRACT:
Today, organizations are more decentralized than ever before, often enhancing the organization's reach and productivity. Adopting a distributed paradigm comes at a cost, however, as access to and control over critical business applications and data become more difficult to control. Some organizations have responded to this evolving threat profile by deploying point security solutions as needs arise. Organizations that proceed in this "reactive mode" often encounter a snowballing effect, as managing point solutions for wireless LAN, VoIP, remote access, and localized intranets can quickly turn branch offices into administrative sinkholes. Many vendors offer appliances that integrated networking and security solutions. Are these unified threat management and "branch in a box" products all they promise to be, or do they simply replace a series of headaches with a migraine?
This webcast will address the following questions:
- What constitutes a secure branch office today?
- Are "best of breed" or "branch in a box" solutions more secure?
- Are integrated products easier to remotely manage and monitor?
- How do I ensure my "branch in a box" solution keeps pace with my user growth and application needs?
