ABSTRACT:
As service-oriented architectures (SOAs) gain mainstream acceptance, IT professionals that are looking to implement them into their infrastructure will ask the question: Will a SOA actually save me money? This case study describes how a telecom company calculated and compared costs of a traditional EAI approach to an Enterprise Service Bus solution and which solution yielded the most efficient cost savings.
