ABSTRACT:
As data growth rates continue to spiral upwards, many organizations are looking for cost-effective ways to streamline their IT infrastructure and optimize data management. Storage consolidation has become a proven option, but often requires a Fibre Channel SAN which can be expensive and complex.
Fortunately, with the emergence of iSCSI, this is no longer the case.
This Webcast explores ways to simplify IT through the use of IP storage consolidation solutions. Learn how you can consolidate your storage without the cost and complexity of Fibre Channel.
iSCSI arrays can help reduce complexity and TCO because they are usually simpler to deploy and often don't require highly-trained storage managers.
This Webcast discusses the current storage technology landscape with a focus on the emergence of iSCSI as a viable alternative or supplement to Fibre Channel. View this Webcast to learn about:
The benefits of iSCSI arrays and iSCSI/FC combination arrays
Data protection in IP Storage products
The scalability of SAS
Other technologies that will enable greater storage functionality
