Vice President, Global Technology Business Unit, Oracle
Dave Pearson is a vice president in the Global Technology Business Unit for Oracle Corporation responsible for grid messaging and sales support. He has been actively involved in the development of grid standards for the last five years. His career at Oracle spans 19 years during which time he has held both technical consulting and senior management positions. As a technical consultant he worked in all industry sectors advising many of Oracle's strategic customers on IS & IT strategy definition and implementation, information and technical architecture, and programme and technical risk management. As a technical manager he led architectural and data warehousing consulting practices in Oracle UK and in Oracle's EMEA division.

Jay Workman
Alliance Marketing Manager, HP
Jay Workman is a member of HP's Global Oracle Alliance and is responsible for marketing HP server and storage solutions with Oracle world-wide. He has been on the Oracle alliance at HP for eight years. Prior to joining HP, Jay was a Sr. Sales Consultant for Oracle in Houston, TX. Jay's additional duties at HP include promoting HP-Oracle solutions at multiple industry and corporate events, creating and delivering training for the joint solutions to internal sales and pre-sales representatives as well as joint HP-Oracle channel partners. Jay also represents HP's Oracle alliance within HP's Industry Standard Server business unit, where the HP ProLiant AMD based servers are developed and managed.
