Current federal and state laws, as well as pending bills in various state legislatures, require more stringent protection of personal and corporate data. But data breaches aren't due solely to lost or stolen laptops. The paradigm must shift from Full Disk Encryption to Full Data Encryption.

Richard Stone has extensive experience in mobile and wireless technologies, business applications, U.S. and European market trends, and strategic planning. Stone has served as wireless and mobility solutions manager for the Americas region at Hewlett-Packard, where he was responsible for the overall vision, strategy and go-to-market activities for end-to-end wireless solutions in North America. While at Compaq, Richard was responsible for retail delivery and customer relationship management solutions to US financial institutions. During his tenure at Olivetti, he held executive positions in marketing, advanced technology, business development and sales support for the company's range of hardware, software and related banking products for the US banking market. Richard is currently V.P. of Marketing at CREDANT Technologies, a Dallas-based mobile and wireless security software firm, and is responsible for strategic planning and world-wide marketing activities. He holds a Bachelor of Science Honours degree from the University of Surrey in England.
