ABSTRACT:
Migrating to Exchange 2007, whether from a previous version of Exchange or another messaging platform can be challenging. For example, implementing Exchange 2007 in an environment where Exchange 5.5 exists or where the Active Directory is not in native mode is impossible, and moving to Exchange 2007 from Novel GroupWise or Lotus Notes is quite complex. In this webcast, Exchange MVP Mark Arnold explains the considerations companies must evaluate in order to achieve a seamless Exchange 2007 migration. He also outlines potential pitfalls you should be aware of before making the leap to Microsoft's newest messaging platform. Specific issues that will be discussed include:
- Active Directory considerations
- Hardware issues
- Architecture and design
- Migration tools
- Migration strategy
