Tom Finneran
Principal Architect, CIBER, Inc.
As Principal Consultant within CIBER's Enterprise Integration Practice, Tom Finneran possesses more than 25 years experience in the field of data processing. He is a noted expert in the areas of enterprise architecture, BI / DW, business and data analysis, UML object analysis and design, data modeling, and information resource management methodologies. Tom has authored several articles for publications such as Datamation and The Data Administration Newsletter.
Charlie Ward
Enterprise Architect, Duke Energy
Charlie Ward is an IT Enterprise Architect for Duke Energy and leads Duke's Enterprise Architecture Council. He is responsible for developing and aligning Duke's technology strategy with the company's business strategy and optimizing the return on their IT investment. For the past 18 months he has been focused on leading the design and implementation of an enterprise Information Management Architecture as part of the IT platform required to support the company's business strategies into the future. Charlie has 15 years of experience in application development and solution delivery, and has been a system and enterprise architect for the past 6 years. Prior to joining Duke, Charlie was a veteran of the U.S. Naval Submarine Service. He has a B.S. degree in Management from Southern Wesleyan University. He lives in Rock Hill, SC with his wife and the younger of his two sons.
