With the accelerating adoption of server virtualization, IT organizations are starting to evaluate where else virtualization can bring value. Virtual desktops hold great promise for increasing security and manageability, improving user access, and reducing management costs and headaches (and maybe even hardware costs). This webcast discusses where virtual desktops make sense as part of an overall desktop strategy, explains the various types of desktop virtualization (including both server and client based options), and outlines key vendor offerings.
