ABSTRACT:
The majority of enterprises are already convinced of the benefits of a converged IP network and the merits of VoIP. However, potentially high startup and manpower costs and the lack of technical know-how within the organization may present barriers to its adoption. In view of this, the managed services model may provide the best route forward, enabling enterprises to reduce the risks involved in VoIP deployment while tapping on the service provider's expertise to address quality of service and network management issues.
