ABSTRACT:
In IT, things are a bit schizophrenic these days. As always, there are a million fires to extinguish and a long list of projects that stretches out as far as the eye can see. The new bi-monthly Virtual Data Center e-zine is here to help! In each issue, you get access to useful, thoughtful and insightful examinations of key technology concerns you face today and tomorrow.
In this inaugural edition, Dave Welch considers a controversial topic: Should you run databases in virtual machines? In his role as an integrator of Oracle database management systems with VMware, Welch has answered that question many times. In addition, Barb Goldworm takes on the complex question of what kinds of storage you should use for virtual servers.
This e-zine is made possible by these sponsors:

By downloading this E-Zine you are agreeing to receive updates on future issues of the Virtual Data Center E-Zine and we'll activate your free membership to SearchDataCenter.com.
