ABSTRACT:
This document discusses best practices for reporting, which have often been overlooked. Most of the time we tend to focus on eye candy-either dashboards or the actual deployment of business intelligence applications- and overlook classic report generation and report production, crucial concepts at the heart of business intelligence.
This document will cover the background of today's reporting situation and look at ways to improve the reporting processes within our companies and make them more efficient.
