This document discusses grid computing, Oracle's definition of it, the elements that comprise an Oracle Enterprise Grid Computing environment, and Oracle Grid on Windows. It discusses a customer, TALX, a part of Equifax, which has recently moved aggressively to grid computing in a Windows environment. Lastly, it covers when to implement grid computing, how to start with the benefits of grid computing, how to implement it, and finally Oracle's commitment to Windows and its database integration with Windows and .NET.
