ABSTRACT:
One of the biggest issues facing Unitrin Specialty a few years ago was the prospect of merging the operations of two existing business units. Success would help them toward achieving their goal: to become the most valued non-standard automobile insurance company appointment in the independent agent market.
Claims processing offered a particular challenge. The two legacy systems were incompatible and supported significantly different processes. Neither system could deliver the desired flexibility and support image-based processes.
The Unitrin Specialty team was very hands-on in the configuration and rollout of Claims Workstation.
